Land Development
Fieldstone has developed a number of large-scale or master-planned communities in
California, Texas and Utah. It is estimated that Fieldstone has moved over 80 million
cubic yards of dirt in its grading operations over the years.
Fieldstone is the master developer of Sycamore Creek, a 715-acre community
near Corona, California. The scope of this project included moving over 6 million
yards of dirt, constructing a commercial site, designing and constructing a 3.7
million gallon water tank, a sewer pumping station, a recreation center, regional
parks, trails and a 71-acre nature conservation area. Design of a school facility
and freeway interchange were also included.
At Rancho Trabuco in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, Fieldstone moved
over 3 million yards of dirt and constructed major infrastructure facilities including
the first section of the Foothill Transportation Corridor, Alicia Parkway, Santa
Margarita Parkway and the Arroyo Bridge which connected Mission Viejo, California
to Ranch Santa Margarita, California.
With extensive land holdings in both markets, Fieldstone is among the largest developers
in Salt Lake City, Utah and San Antonio, Texas. Capitalizing on its extensive experience
in land development, Fieldstone will work with your team to help you maximize the
value of assets in the most effective way. This may mean an outright purchase by
Fieldstone, or a variety of alternative structures.
Many land owners find that value can be preserved by contracting on a fee basis
for site construction and offering finished lots for sale to homebuilders. Fieldstone
can offer you this expertise as well as our experienced and reliable field personnel,
purchasing staff and subcontractor base.
Typically, our land development services include:
• Surveying, site preparation and grading
• Construction of on-site and off-site underground utilities
• Street construction
• Construction of community amenities such as recreation center, parks,
trails, etc.
• All water quality and SWPPP best practices
• Management of purchasing, subcontractors, budgets and schedules.
