OUR TEAM
Fieldstone’s Senior Management team consists of seasoned industry veterans, actively
involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. This means that critical decisions
can be made quickly and with confidence. It also allows mentoring to occur, which
spotlights the next generation of leaders dedicated to upholding an unparalleled
tradition of excellence.
Frank S. Foster is President and Chief Executive Officer.
He has been serving in various capacities at companies within The Fieldstone Group
of Companies since 1986. Frank previously worked for Union Bank, an institution
he joined immediately after college, where he served as vice president of commercial
lending, then vice president of the real estate loan center in the Los Angeles regional
head office, and then vice president and manager of the Orange County real estate
loan center. Frank graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree
in finance with emphasis in finance and marketing.
C. Alan Arthur is Chief Financial Officer. Alan has held
various management positions at companies within The Fieldstone Group of Companies
since 1985, including director of accounting and information services, corporate
controller and secretary and treasurer. Prior to joining The Fieldstone Group of
Companies, he was a consulting manager with Kenneth Leventhal Company and was previously
with Price Waterhouse. Alan graduated Cum Laude from California State Polytechnic
University, Pomona, with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance. He is
a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and
the California Society of CPAs.
Chad Ogden is Regional President of Central Regions which
include Texas and Utah. Chad joined The Fieldstone Group of Companies as senior
project manager in 2004. He previously worked for six years with McKinsey Company,
an international management consulting firm, where he served Fortune 500 companies
on issues of strategy and operations. He also worked for Caltex Australia, an Australian
petroleum refiner and marketer, in its corporate strategy group. Chad holds a Bachelor
of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a
master's degree in Business Administration from the School of Business at Stanford
University.
Jerry Abbott is Division President of Fieldstone Homes
Utah. Jerry joined The Fieldstone Group of Companies after serving as the Arizona
division president of Empire Homes for seven years. Prior to Empire, Jerry was a
Community Manager for four years with Trend Homes, a production builder serving
first-time homebuyers in Mesa, Arizona; he also worked for four years as a custom
builder and remodeler in Orem, Utah. Jerry graduated from Brigham Young University
with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.
Jo Faris is Division President of Fieldstone’s land development
division. Jo has held numerous positions at The Fieldstone Group of Companies since
joining in 1997, including general manager, director of land acquisition and project
manager. In 2004, she founded the North Counties division for Fieldstone. Prior
to joining Fieldstone, Jo served as a senior consultant in Ernst Young Kenneth
Leventhal’s Real Estate Consulting Group. Jo received her Bachelor of Arts in political
science from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California and a master's degree
in Business Administration from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University
of California, Irvine.
David Greminger is Division President for California home building.
David has held various positions at The Fieldstone Group of Companies since 2000,
including director of land acquisition and project manager. Prior to joining Fieldstone,
David was a senior manager in Ernst Young Kenneth Leventhal’s Real Estate Consulting
Group. He is a board member and current president of the Building Industry Association
of Orange County. David received a Bachelor of Science degree in planning and development
with an emphasis in architecture from the University of Southern California.
Fred Wyborski is Division President of Fieldstone Homes
Texas. Prior to joining The Fieldstone Group of Companies, Fred was a division president
for KB Home Gold Coast in Daytona Beach, Florida; and vice president of operations
and vice president of construction with Pulte Homes in Michigan. Fred graduated
with a Master's of Science in Finance from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan, after
earning a bachelor's degree in business administration at Michigan State University.
Michael Vairin is Managing Vice President of Fieldstone’s
land development division. Michael joined The Fieldstone Group of Companies in 1988
and has held numerous positions including project manager, regional manager and
vice president of central operations. Prior to joining The Fieldstone Group of Companies,
Michael was a city planner for several cities in Southern California, as well as
vice president of a home building company based in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
He is a senior officer of the Building Industry Association for Southern California
and a board member of the California Building Industry Association. Michael received
a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic
University, Pomona.
